Frequently Asked Questions
1
What is Bloom Women's Health & Wellness?
Bloom is a modern, women-centered health clinic in Gillette, WY. We offer comprehensive reproductive care tailored to every stage of a woman’s life, focusing on a holistic and personalized approach.
Here, you can expect longer visits where every question is welcomed, treating you as a whole person rather than just a set of symptoms. With our direct-pay model we prioritize your healthcare goals, ensuring you receive the empowered you deserve.
2
What makes Bloom different?
At Bloom, we prioritize your unique experience in women's health. Our commitment is to provide you with more than just care—we offer personalized integrative treatment that respects your body, mind, and hormones. With longer visits and meaningful conversations, we truly listen your concerns and work together to create a plan tailored to your goals. At Bloom, it’s about understanding the whole woman, not just addressing symptoms.
3
Why is Bloom a cash-based practice?
My goal is to provide exceptional, personalized care without compromise. Choosing not to contract with insurance companies allows me to uphold that commitment and offer a more transparent, patient-centered experience.

Transparency and Clarity in Pricing
By operating as a cash-based practice, I’m able to provide clear, upfront pricing for all services. You’ll always know the cost of your care before your visit—no hidden fees, surprise bills, or confusing insurance statements. This transparency empowers you to make informed choices about your health and wellness.
More Time and Attention for Each Patient
Without the administrative burden and time constraints that come with insurance billing, I can devote more meaningful time to every visit. This allows for thoughtful, unhurried conversations, personalized care plans, and a truly collaborative approach to your health.

Prioritizing Quality Over Quotas
Insurance-driven care often forces providers to focus on volume rather than value. A cash-based model lets me focus solely on you—your symptoms, your goals, and your overall well-being—rather than on meeting insurance metrics or navigating complex authorizations.

Freedom to Offer Holistic, Comprehensive Care
Insurance coverage can be restrictive, often excluding innovative or preventative wellness services. Operating independently gives me the freedom to recommend treatments and therapies that best support your unique health journey—without limitation.

An Investment in Your Health
By choosing a cash-based wellness model, you’re investing in a higher level of care—one that prioritizes your time, your comfort, and your long-term health outcomes. At Bloom, you are not just another patient in the system; you are a partner in your care.
4
Can I use my insurance for labs & medications?
Yes. While Bloom does not bill insurance for visits, you can absolutely use your insurance for labs, imaging, and prescriptions. Most outside laboratories and pharmacies will bill your private insurance directly. Because every plan is different, we always recommend checking with your insurance carrier for specific coverage details.
5
Can I use my HSA, FSA, or out-of-network benefits?
Yes. HSA and FSA cards can be used at the time of your appointment for eligible services.

If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) for you to submit to your insurance company. Depending on your plan, you may receive reimbursement or have the costs applied toward your deductible.

Because coverage varies, I always encourage patients to contact their insurance provider for details about individual benefits and reimbursement options.
